「build up stamina」や「maintain a healthy weight」は、「get fit」や「stay healthy」だけでは示せない語彙の使いこなしを示します。

I want to lose some weight I want to shed a few pounds
I stopped eating junk food I gave up junk food
he got hurt playing football he picked up an injury playing football試験官が、直訳ではなく自然な表現と認めるコロケーション
I started doing yoga I took up yoga last year趣味を始めるときの自然な動詞は「take up」
sitting all day is bad for you a sedentary lifestyle increases health risksフォーマルな名詞句がPart 3の議論に合う

名詞の「A workout」と、動詞の「to work out」(2語)はどちらも正しく、よく使われます。

ほぼすべての文で「healthy」や「good for you」を繰り返すことです。
