挑兩三個你能用具體時間和細節描述的習慣,例如「he gets up at five and runs round the lake」,而不是「he exercises a lot」。

  • who: Dilshan, friend, Kandy, Sri Lanka

  • habits: up at five, runs round the lake, cooks at home, bed by ten
  • feeling: respect, a little envy, I copy one habit at a time

Band 6

I would like to talk about my friend Dilshan, who lives in Kandy in Sri Lanka. We meet時態錯誤:應為「met」 about three years ago at a weekend English class, because we sat at the same table and he always help時態錯誤:應為「helped」 me with the pronunciation. Now we are good friends. He works as a nurse in the city hospital, so his days are very long, but he never skip主詞動詞不一致:應為「never skips」 his routine. He has a very healthy lifestyle, and I think it is the best基本最高級,限制了Lexical Resource的分數 lifestyle I know. Every morning he gets up at five, you know當作停頓使用的填充詞, and he runs round the lake near his house for forty minutes. After that he make主詞動詞不一致:應為「makes」 breakfast at home, usually fruit and eggs, because he does not like food from outside用字不夠精準;用「restaurants」或「takeaways」會更清楚. He drinks a lot of water and he do not助動詞錯誤:應為「does not」 drink sugary drinks at all. On Sundays he cooks lunch for his parents and they eat together, with no television on, so it is a very nice time基本詞彙,限制了Lexical Resource的分數. In the evening he er自然的停頓,填充詞不顯眼 goes to bed at ten, so he is never tired. I feel respect for him, and also a little envy, because I can not拼寫與形式錯誤:應為「cannot」或「can’t」 wake up so early. But he inspired me, and now I try to walk after dinner every day. Last month I joined him for a run, and I was very slow, but he waited for me and he did not laugh at me, so I felt happy. I think it is a good thing基本詞彙,限制了Lexical Resource的分數 to have a friend like him.

Band 7

I’d like to talk about my friend Dilshan, who lives in Kandy in Sri Lanka. We met about three years ago at a weekend English class, because we sat at the same table and he always helped me with my pronunciation. Now we’re good friends. He works as a nurse at the city hospital, so his days are long, but he never skips his routine. He has one of the healthiest lifestyles of anyone I know. Every morning he gets up at five and runs round the lake near his house for forty minutes. After that he makes breakfast at home, usually fruit and eggs, as he don’t助動詞錯誤:應為「doesn’t」 like eating out. He drinks plenty of water and cuts out sugary drinks altogether精準的片語動詞,搭配自然的副詞. On Sundays he cooks lunch for his parents and they eat together with the television off, which he says is good for the whole family. In the evening he’s in bed by ten, so he’s rarely tired正確使用頻率副詞 during the day. I feel respect for him, and also a little envy, since I can’t seem to get up that early自然使用「can’t seem to」,並搭配原因子句. But he’s inspired me, and now I try to walk after dinner every day. Last month I joined him for a run and was painfully slow, but he waited for me and never once made me feel embarrassed. It’s encouraging比一般的正面形容詞更精準 to have a friend who leads by example, if you see what I mean自然的確認用語,帶有對話的語氣 rather than telling me what to do.

Band 8

I’d like to talk about my friend Dilshan, who lives in Kandy in Sri Lanka. We met about three years ago at a weekend English class, because we sat at the same table and he always helped me with my pronunciation. Now we’re good friends. He’s a nurse at the city hospital, so his days are long, yet he never lets his routine slip. He has one of the healthiest lifestyles of anyone I know. He’s a real early riser慣用名詞片語,用法自然: he gets up at five and runs round the lake near his house for forty minutes. After that he makes breakfast at home, usually fruit and eggs, since he’d rather not eat out. He drinks plenty of water and has cut out sugary drinks altogether精準的片語動詞,搭配自然的副詞. On Sundays he cooks lunch for his parents, and they eat together with the television off, which he says is as good for the mind as for the body. In the evening he’s in bed by ten, which is why he is rarely tired during the day連接因果的關係子句. I feel respect for him, and a little envy too, since I can’t seem to get up that early. That said,引出對比的話語標記 he’s inspired me to start walking after dinner every day. Last month I joined him for a run and was painfully slow, but he stayed beside me the whole way and never once made me feel self-conscious. It’s reassuring精準的形容詞,表達細微的情感影響 to have a friend who leads by example rather than lecturing me, and it has made me realise that healthy habits are built one small step at a time.

  • Band 6的「We meet」和「he always help」,在Band 7變得正確(「We met」、「he always helped」),Band 8也維持乾淨。
  • Band 6依賴「best」和「a good thing」;Band 7用「cuts out sugary drinks altogether」和「encouraging」;Band 8再加上「a real early riser」和「reassuring」。
  • Band 6停在「I try to walk after dinner every day」,而Band 8以一段反思作結:「healthy habits are built one small step at a time」。

  1. Why do some people find it difficult to keep healthy habits?
  2. Do you think schools should teach children how to live a healthy lifestyle?
  3. Who has more influence on a person's habits, family or friends?
  4. Have people become more or less health-conscious in recent years?
  5. Is it better to exercise alone or with other people?
