Band 6
I’d like to describe an acoustic guitar that I saved money to buy two years ago. I live in Lagos, and I am wanting動詞の形の誤り:正しくは「had wanted」または「wanted」 a guitar since I was fifteen, because my uncle played one every Sunday after church and I loved the sound. My family could not buy it for me, so I decided to save by myself. It take時制の誤り:正しくは「took」 me about nine months. I worked on Saturdays in my cousin’s phone shop, and I also stop時制の誤り:正しくは「stopped」 buying snacks after class, which was, er次の考えを探すときに使うつなぎ言葉, quite hard because my friends always went to the cafe. Every month I put the money in a small tin box under my bed and I counted it again and again. In the sixth month my phone break時制の誤り:正しくは「broke」 and I almost use動詞の形の誤り:正しくは「used」 the money to fix it, but my uncle said I must wait. I wanted the guitar because music helps me relax after a long day, and also I wanted to play songs with the group from my church. When I finally had enough money, I went to a music shop near my university with my uncle, and he helped me choose a good基本的な形容詞で、Lexical Resourceの評価が伸びない one. I felt very, very happy的確な語の代わりに、基本的な強調語を繰り返している when I carried it home. I didn’t slept動詞の形の誤り:正しくは「didn’t sleep」 much that night because I play時制の誤り:正しくは「played」 until my mother told me to stop. I think saving for it was a good experienceあいまいな言い回しで、Lexical Resourceの評価が伸びない, because now I take care it前置詞の抜け:正しくは「take care of it」 very carefully. Now I play it at church on Sundays, next to my uncle, and I am very proud when people listen.
Band 7
I’d like to describe an acoustic guitar that I saved up for two years ago. I live in Lagos, and I’d wanted a guitar ever since I was fifteen, because my uncle played one every Sunday after church and I loved the sound. My family couldn’t afford to buy it for me, so I decided to put money asideお金を貯めることを表す、自然なコロケーション myself, and it took me about nine months. I worked on Saturdays in my cousin’s phone shop, and I gave up buying snacks after class, which was harder than I expected because my friends always went to the cafe比較級と理由の節を、正確に使っている. Every month I’d drop what I’d earned into a small tin box under my bed and count it again and again. In the sixth month my phone broke and I was tempted to spend the money on a new screen, but my uncle told me to hold on, so I did. I wanted the guitar because music helps me unwind after a long day, and I hoped to play along with the group from my church. When I finally had enough, I went to a music shop near my university with my uncle, who helped me pick out a really nice one無難で一般的な形容詞:より的確な語を使えば幅が広がる. I felt incredibly proudより強く、より的確な感情の語 carrying it home. I hardly slept that night because I kept playing until my mother told to me語順の誤り:正しくは「told me」 to stop. Looking back, saving for it made me appreciate it more than if someone had simply handed it to me努力と気持ちを結びつける、振り返りの節, and I look after it very carefully, so it’s still in a perfect condition冠詞の誤り:「in perfect condition」には冠詞が付かない. Now I play it at church on Sundays, right next to my uncle.
Band 8
I’d like to describe an acoustic guitar that I saved up for two years ago. I live in Lagos, and I’d had my heart set on one ever since I was fifteen, when my uncle started playing his every Sunday after church. My family couldn’t afford to buy it for me, so I decided to put the money aside myself, and it took me about nine months. I worked on Saturdays in my cousin’s phone shop and went without snacks after class, which was harder than I’d expected, given that my friends were always at the cafe理由の節を伴う比較級を、自然に使いこなしている. Every month I’d drop what I’d earned into a small tin box under my bed and count it again, as if it might have multiplied overnight. In the sixth month my phone broke and I was sorely tempted内面の葛藤を表す、的確なコロケーション to spend the money on a new screen, but my uncle urged me to hold on, and I’m glad I did. I wanted the guitar because music helps me unwind after a long day, and I hoped to play along with the group from my church. When I finally had enough, I went to a music shop near my university with my uncle, who helped me pick out one with a warm, full sound一般的な形容詞の代わりに、具体的な描写をしている. I was over the moon強い喜びを表す慣用表現 carrying it home. I hardly slept that night because I kept playing until my mother had to come in and ask me to stop正しい時制を使った、自然な語りの表現. Looking back, what I value most is not the guitar itself but the months it represents明確な最後の主張を示す分裂文, which is probably why I still treat it with such care. Now I play it at church on Sundays, right next to my uncle, and being listened to feels like a reward I earned努力というテーマに呼応する、簡潔で自然な言い回し.
- バンド6の時制のミス(「It take me」「I also stop」「I play until」)は、バンド7では正確な過去形になり(「it took me」「I gave up」「I kept playing」)、バンド8でもミスはありません。
- バンド6は「very, very happy」と「a good experience」を使っています。バンド7は「incredibly proud」を使い、バンド8は慣用表現「over the moon」と、「the months it represents」についての締めくくりの対比を加えています。
- Why do some people find it hard to save money?
- Should schools teach young people how to manage their money?
- Is it better to save up for something or to buy it now and pay later?
- How has online shopping changed the way people decide what to buy?
- Do you think people value things less today because they are so easy to get?
