雅思IELTS寫作Task 1地圖的Band 6、7、8版本
簡答
本頁把一組虛構的小鎮地圖（1995年和2025年）描述了三次，分別是Band 6、7、8，三份報告有相同的overview（整體概述）和相同的變化，並標示出哪些片語會得分或失分。就地圖來說，最常拉開分數差距的，是overview有沒有說出發生了哪一種變化、發生在哪裡，以及每個方向有沒有對照指北針檢查過。
在App裡，Task 1報告會得到4個評分項目各自的分數區間，Data Accuracy卡片則把讀錯地圖和語言錯誤分開。

本頁內容
本頁用一組虛構的地圖，分別寫出Band 6、Band 7和Band 8的報告。三份報告有相同的overview和相同的變化，所以你看到的差別屬於分數等級，而不是內容。地圖的做法請見流程圖與地圖的描述方式；地圖是練習資料裡的圖像，IELTS.org的格式頁面沒有點名它。
這3份報告是為本網站寫的。它們不是來自真實的試卷，也沒有經過IELTS評分，它們是用來比較的示範，不是要背的答案。IELTS.org會對背誦和抄襲的內容扣分，你考試時的地圖也會不同，所以本頁的用途是讓你看清楚每個分數等級是什麼樣子。
重點整理
- 3份報告的overview相同，報告的變化也相同。不同的是overview點出變化種類的程度、各區域怎麼連接，以及方向和時態處理得有多準確。
- Band 6的報告有overview，也涵蓋了主要的變化，但它把一棟新建築放在地圖錯誤的位置，解釋了地圖沒有解釋的變化，而且每個特徵都套用同一種句型。
- Band 7的報告依區域來組織，所以讀者找得到每一項變化，除了一個失誤，動詞和方向都是對的。
- Band 8的報告替變化排序，把大的變化放在小的前面，並把沒有改變的特徵留到最後。
題目
這道題目是為練習而虛構的，不是歷屆試題。
The maps below show the town of Port Selby in 1995 and in 2025. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.
兩張地圖都是上方為北，海在小鎮的東側。以下依區域列出每張地圖的特徵：

3份報告都用這個規劃：
- 引言：用新的說法寫出地圖呈現了什麼、在哪裡、什麼時候。
- Overview：小鎮的開發程度提高了，部分農地變成住宅，港口重建，而主要道路和車站沒有改變。
- 細節一：北部和東部，也就是農地、住宅區和港口。
- 細節二：中部、西部和南部，最後說明什麼沒有改變。
同一份報告的Band 6、7、8版本
將游標移到標示的片語上或點一下，就能看到評分者會注意的地方。圖例會標明每種顏色對應的評分項目，橘色標示的是會被扣分的失誤。
Band 6
The two maps show how the town of Port Selby change時態錯誤：兩張地圖的日期都是過去，所以應為「changed」 between 1995 and 2025. Overall, the town became bigger and there were more buildings in 2025, but the road and the station were the same有overview，但很籠統：沒有說在哪裡，也沒有說什麼取代了什麼.
In 1995 the north of the town was all farmland. In 2025 a housing estate was built in the west of the farmland方向錯誤：住宅區在東邊，靠海, but there was still some farmland in the north-west. This happened because more people wanted to live near the sea地圖沒有給出的理由；報告只描述變化，不解釋變化.
On the east coast there was a wooden jetty in 1995, and in 2025 there was a concrete harbour wall and a marina. In the centre there was a market square, and in 2025 it was a pedestrian area with cafes和前一句同樣的「there was … in 2025」句型，所以報告只是在列出特徵，沒有把它們連起來. The school in the west, next to the main road, were extended一致問題：應為「was extended」 and it has a new sports field時態轉換：應為「it had」或「with a new sports field」 to the west of it. The woodland in the south was cutted詞形：應為「was cut down」或「was cleared」 and there was a car park next to the station. The main road and the station stayed the same.
Band 7
The two maps illustrate how the coastal town of Port Selby changed between 1995 and 2025.
Overall, the town became more developed over the thirty years, with housing replacing part of the farmland and the harbour being rebuilt, while the main road and the railway station stayed where they wereoverview說出變化的種類、最大的兩項變化，以及沒有移動的部分.
In the north of the map, the farmland that covered the whole area in 1995 reduced to a strip in the north-west需要被動語態：應為「was reduced to a strip」, as a housing estate was built on its eastern side, next to the sea. On the east coast, the wooden jetty was replaced by a concrete harbour wall and a marina.
In the centre, the market square, which had previously been open to traffic關係子句裡的過去完成式，用來說變化之前的狀態, was turned into a pedestrian area with cafes. Further west依清楚的順序帶讀者走過地圖，所以方位詞就構成了結構, the school was extended and a sports field was added to the west of it. In the south of the map, part of the woodland was cleared to make way for a car park beside the railway station描述土地用途改變的自然、精確用語, which, like the main road, was unchanged非限定關係子句，把沒有改變的特徵放進同一個句子.
Band 8
The maps show how the coastal town of Port Selby developed over the thirty years from 1995 to 2025.
Overall, the town became more developed, as housing took over part of the farmland and the harbour and the centre were remodelled, whereas the main road and the railway station were left as they wereoverview說出變化的種類，把大的和小的變化分組，並說出什麼維持不變.
The most extensive change was in the north, where a housing estate occupied the eastern half of what had been continuous farmland, leaving farmland only in the north-west最大的變化放在最前面，連同它在地圖上的位置和對剩餘部分的影響. On the coast, the wooden jetty gave way to精確又自然：說明一個特徵取代了另一個 a concrete harbour wall with a marina, and in the centre the market square, previously open to traffic用四個字交代廣場先前的狀態，所以不需要多一個句子, became a pedestrian area with cafes.
The school in the west of the town was extended, with a sports field added to the west of it, and part of the southern woodland was cleared to make room for a car park beside the station. The station and the main road, by contrast, were unchanged以沒有改變的特徵收尾，而「by contrast」說明了原因. Beyond these features, nothing else on either map altered長句之後接一個短句，所以標點承載了節奏.
讓分數不同的關鍵
以下的說明依循公開的評分標準，並採用本網站的改寫。每段引文都來自該句所指分數等級的報告。
Task Achievement
Band 6的報告有overview，也涵蓋了主要的變化，但它的總結很籠統：「the town became bigger and there were more buildings in 2025」沒有說什麼取代了什麼。它的細節有兩處也偏離了地圖：「a housing estate was built in the west of the farmland」的方向錯了，「This happened because more people wanted to live near the sea」則給出任何一張地圖都沒有顯示的理由。
Band 7判斷出變化的種類和最大的兩項變化。「housing replacing part of the farmland and the harbour being rebuilt」是讀者可以對照地圖檢驗的總結，細節也和它吻合。
Band 8替變化排序。「The most extensive change was in the north」告訴讀者該帶走什麼，它的overview也把變化分成重塑小鎮的，和沒有動到的。Band 7的Task Achievement（任務達成度）描述收錄了這段說明所改寫的原文。
Coherence and Cohesion
Band 6的報告分成段落，但每個句子都重複同一種句型：「On the east coast there was a wooden jetty in 1995, and in 2025 there was a concrete harbour wall and a marina」後面接著「In the centre there was a market square, and in 2025 it was a pedestrian area」。報告只是在列出特徵，沒有把它們連起來。
Band 7給讀者一條路線。「In the north」、「On the coast」、「In the centre」和「Further west」依讀者跟得上的順序走過地圖，每個段落也只談自己的區域。
Band 8用對比把報告連起來。「by contrast」從改變的部分轉到沒有改變的部分，所以最後一句讀起來就像描述的結論。Band 6的Coherence and Cohesion（連貫與銜接）描述描述了這種機械的模式。
Lexical Resource
Band 6的詞彙足以完成這組地圖，但嘗試使用表示變化的說法並不都正確：「The woodland in the south was cutted」的詞形錯誤，而「there was」做的，是本來該由表示變化的動詞來做的工作。
Band 7靈活而且大多精確。「part of the woodland was cleared to make way for a car park beside the railway station」用了適合描述土地用途改變的動詞和片語，「turned into a pedestrian area」則說出市集廣場變成了什麼。
Band 8選字是為了準確。「gave way to」說明一個特徵取代了另一個，「previously open to traffic」用四個字補上關於廣場的一個事實。Band 8的Lexical Resource（詞彙資源）描述描述了這種掌控力。
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
Band 6的報告混合使用簡單句和複雜句，錯誤很小：「The two maps show how the town of Port Selby change」的時態錯了，「were extended」的一致性錯了，「it has a new sports field」則在描述過去的地圖時跳到現在式。
Band 7有幾種複雜句，而且很多寫得乾淨。「which, like the main road, was unchanged」是一個插入比較的非限定關係子句，標點正確，不過「reduced to a strip in the north-west」還留下一個被動語態的失誤。
Band 8的範圍更廣，幾乎每個句子都沒有錯。「The most extensive change was in the north, where a housing estate occupied the eastern half of what had been continuous farmland, leaving farmland only in the north-west」包含一個關係子句、一個過去完成式和一個分詞片語，後面的短句則給出節奏。請對照Band 7的Grammatical Range and Accuracy（文法多樣性與準確度）描述。
這種題型的陷阱
這些陷阱來自流程圖與地圖指南，而且每一個都能在Band 6的報告中看到。
- 方向錯誤。Band 6的報告把住宅區放在西邊，但地圖把它放在東邊。寫下方向之前，先檢查指北針和海岸，最後再對照表格檢查一次。
- 解釋為什麼。地圖沒有說明為什麼要蓋住宅區。「This happened because more people wanted to live near the sea」是猜測，評分者會把它當成地圖沒有支持的資訊。
- 依你看到的順序描述畫面。Band 6的細節從一個特徵走到下一個，沒有任何分組，所以讀者得自己拼出整個畫面。請選一種順序，依區域或依變化的種類，並且一直遵守。
- 時態錯誤。兩張地圖的日期都是過去，Band 6的報告卻在「it has a new sports field」滑到現在式。請在寫第一句之前，就依日期決定時態。
如何使用這些範文
先用20分鐘，針對同一道題目寫出你自己的報告。接著把這3份報告和你的報告逐段對照，問自己每個段落在4個評分項目上，各像哪個分數等級。請把你報告裡的每個方向，都對照指北針檢查。
然後用同樣的標記代碼，替你自己的報告做記號：你的overview在哪裡點出了變化的種類、哪個方位詞帶著讀者走過地圖、哪個表示變化的動詞用得剛好，以及評分者會圈出哪些失誤。不要背這些頁面上的任何句子：IELTS.org會對背誦的內容扣分，而且考試的地圖不會和這幾張相同。想要更多同類練習，請使用Writing Task 1練習。

常見問題
IELTS Writing Task 1會出地圖嗎？
IELTS.org的Academic Writing格式頁面列出圖形、圖表和表格，以及物件、裝置、流程或事件的示意圖，沒有使用「map」這個字。地圖出現在練習資料裡，而IELTS沒有公布任何圖像出現的頻率，所以請做好準備，但不要預設會出或不會出。
這些地圖範文來自真實的IELTS試卷嗎？
不是。它們是為本網站針對虛構的地圖而寫的，沒有經過IELTS評分。每一份所代表的分數等級，是本網站對公開評分標準的解讀，並不是任何考官給的分數。
我可以背下Band 8的報告，然後在考試中使用嗎？
不可以。IELTS.org會對背誦和抄襲的內容扣分，而且你考試時的地圖會不同，背下來的報告無法描述它們。請用這3份報告來和自己的寫作比較。
兩張日期都是過去的地圖，該用哪個時態？
IELTS.org沒有規定時態。兩張地圖的日期都是過去時，過去簡單式兩張都適用，而對未來的計畫則用will be或is planned to。請只選一種，並對照地圖上的日期檢查每個動詞。
