“She is cheerful”은 꼬리표이고, “she sings while she sews and everyone in the street hears it”은 그림입니다.
마지막 줄에서는 납득이 가는 이유를 대고, 다른 사람이 느끼는 것을 알 수는 없으므로 “I think”나 “it seems to me”로 누그러뜨리세요.

Band 8
I’d like to talk about my aunt Amina, my mother’s younger sister. She lives in Mombasa, in Kenya, and she runs a small tailoring shop near the old town. She opened it fifteen years ago, and three women now work alongside her. She’s one of the most cheerful people I know관계절이 붙은 최상급을 자연스럽게 사용, and everybody who meets her says the same. She’s warm, talkative and exceptionally generous. Her laugh is so loud that people in the street turn their heads, and while she’s sewing she sings old songs, so my cousins often end up dancing around the shop with her“end up” 뒤의 분사구를 자연스럽게 사용. She greets every customer by name and regularly brings snacks round for the neighbours. If someone is struggling she’ll put down her scissors to listen, and she has never once said she was too busy. As for why she’s happy, I think it comes down to the fact that she’s content with what she has. She never compares herself with other people, she spends time with her family every day, and she counts her blessings관용 표현을 자연스럽게 사용, thanking people for small things such as a good meal or a cool breeze from the sea.
- Do you think happy people are more successful than unhappy people?
- What things make people happy in your country?
- Is it possible to be happy all the time?
- How can a person's mood affect the people around them?
- Do you think people were happier in the past than they are today?
카드는 “a person you know”라고 하며, 보통은 다른 사람을 뜻합니다.
