Band 6
I would like to talk about my older sister Achieng, who live主語と動詞の不一致:正しくは「lives」 in Kisumu. She works as a pharmacist in a hospital and she is also studying for a master’s degree in the evenings, so her days are, er自然な間、気にならないつなぎ言葉, very busy. To stay organised she uses a paper planner and a calendar on her phone, and every night she prepare主語と動詞の不一致:正しくは「prepares」 her bag and her clothes for the next day. On Sunday evening she sits down for ten minutes and plans the whole week. She also puts reminders on her phone for small things like paying bills or calling our parents. I notice this when our family plans something together. Last year our mother turned sixty, and Achieng make時制の誤り:正しくは「made」 one page with the guest list, the food and the transport, so everything go時制の誤り:正しくは「went」 well on the day. I also notice it when she studies, because her notes is主語と動詞の不一致:正しくは「are」 in different colours and she knows what she will read on each day. Sometimes her friends laugh at her because she is always early for everything, but she don’t mind主語と動詞の不一致:正しくは「doesn’t mind」. Being organised is important to her because in a pharmacy a small mistake with a medicine can be very bad基本的な語彙で、Lexical Resourceの評価が伸びない for a patient. It also helps her to not have stress基本的で不自然な言い回しで、「avoid panicking」のような的確な動詞句のほうが評価が高くなる when she is tired. Once I asked her how she does it, and she said that a plan takes ten minutes but it saves her many hours. I am not like her, I always do things at the last time不自然な言い回しで、普通は「at the last minute」と言う, so I think she is a very good基本的な形容詞で、「admirable」のほうが語彙の幅を示せる example for me.
Band 7
I’d like to talk about my older sister Achieng, who lives in Kisumu. She works as a pharmacist in a hospital and she’s also studying for a master’s degree in the evenings, so her days are extremely busy. To stay organised she uses a paper planner and a calendar on her phone, and every night she packs her bag and lays out her clothes for the next day. On Sunday evening she sits down for ten minutes and plans the whole week. She also sets reminders on her phone for small things like paying bills or calling our parents. I notice this most when our family organises something together. Last year our mother turned sixty, and Achieng put the guest list, the food and the transport on one page, so everything went smoothly on the day直前の行動に正確につなげた結果の節. I also see it in the way she studies: her notes are colour-coded and she knows exactly what she’ll revise on every day前置詞の誤り:正しくは「revise each day」または「on each day」. Her friends sometimes tease her for always arriving early, but she doesn’t mind. Being organised matters to her because in a pharmacy a small mistake with a doseトピックに特化した、的確な名詞句 could seriously harm a patient. It also means she hardly ever has to panic理由に自然に結び戻している when she’s tired. When I asked her how she does it, she said that a plan takes ten minutes but saves her hours. Honestly, I’m not like her, I usually leave things until the last minute, so she’s a real example for me of how much calmer life can be.
Band 8
I’d like to talk about my older sister Achieng, who lives in Kisumu and is easily the most organised person I know. She works as a pharmacist in a hospital and is studying part time for a master’s degree, so her days are tightly packed. To keep on top of everything she uses a paper planner and a phone calendar, and every night she packs her bag and lays out her clothes for the following day. Every Sunday evening she sits down for ten minutes and maps out the whole week. She even sets phone reminders for small things such as paying bills or calling our parents. I notice this most whenever the family organises something together. When our mother turned sixty, Achieng put the guest list, the food and the transport on a single page, and nothing went wrong on the day, whereas I would probably have forgotten the cake条件文を伴う対比の節が、個性を加えている. I also see it in the way she studies: her notes are colour-coded and she knows exactly what she’ll revise each day. Her friends tease her for turning up early everywhere意味が的確で、くだけた自然な句動詞, yet she takes it as a compliment. Being organised matters to her because in a pharmacy a small mistake with a doseトピックに特化した、的確な名詞句 could seriously harm a patient, and being methodical is part of being responsible習慣と人柄を結びつける、抽象的な表現. It also spares her the panic that comes from rushing個人的な利点を、自然で柔軟に説明している. When I once asked her how she does it, she laughed and said that a plan takes ten minutes but saves hours. Honestly, I find it both inspiring and slightly intimidating, and I’m slowly borrowing a few of her habits.
- バンド6のミス(「who live」、「she prepare」、「Achieng make」)は、バンド7では直っており(「who lives」、「she packs」)、バンド8でもミスはなく、「easily the most organised person I know」という幅のある表現で回答が始まります。
- バンド6は「very bad」と「very good」に頼っています。バンド7は理由を「a small mistake with a dose」に具体化し、バンド8は「being methodical is part of being responsible」を加えて、習慣をその人の人柄に結びつけています。
- バンド6はパーティーの話(「everything go well on the day」)で終わります。バンド8は「I would probably have forgotten the cake」で対比を加え、「both inspiring and slightly intimidating」という個人的な反応で締めくくります。
- 「explain」の行に、その人の生活と結びつけずに「it is a good quality」と答えること
- Do you think people are born organised, or is it a skill that can be learned?
- Why do some people find it so hard to plan their time well?
- Which jobs depend most on being well organised, and why?
- Has technology made it easier to stay organised, or does it just add more distractions?
- Is it a good idea to teach children to plan their day from an early age?
「she has little spare time, so planning stops her from panicking」のような原因と結果のほうが、「it is a good quality」よりも、ずっと説得力があります。
