Band 6
I would like to talk about a morning last May when I get up時態錯誤:應為「got up」 at half past three to see the sunrise from a hill near Chimgan, in the mountains outside Tashkent. It was the idea of my younger brother Bobur, and he talk時態錯誤:應為「had talked」 about it for many weeks, so in the end I said yes, although I am not a morning person. We put用字錯誤:應為「set」 two alarms, took sandwiches and tea, and a friend with a car came at four. It was very dark and very cold重複使用基本用字,限制了Lexical Resource的分數 when we started to walk, and in the first half an hour I was regret詞形錯誤:應為「regretting」或「I regretted」 my answer. But on the top the sky become時態錯誤:應為「became」 orange behind the mountains and there was fog in the valley, er自然的停頓,填充詞不顯眼 it was a really nice基本說法,限制了Lexical Resource的分數 view. We sat there for one hour and almost did not talk. On the way down we had breakfast in a small tea house, and Bobur said many times that he was right. I was tired all afternoon, but I think it was worth it, and I would do it again.
Band 7
I’d like to talk about a morning last May when I got up at half past three to watch the sunrise from a ridge near Chimgan, in the mountains outside Tashkent. It was my younger brother Bobur’s idea. He’d talked about it for weeks, until I finally agreed, although I’m not a morning person at all. We set two alarms, packed sandwiches and a flask of tea, and a friend with a car picked us up at four. It was pitch dark and bitterly cold精準又生動的描述 when we started the climb, and for the first half hour I regretted saying yes. But when we reached the ridge, the sky was turning orange behind the peaks用過去進行式鋪陳場景, and the valley below was still full of mist. We sat there for almost an hour, hardly speaking. On the way down we had breakfast in a small tea house, and Bobur kept reminding me that he’d been right all along. Looking back, I think it was completely worth it帶有反思的話語標記,回應「and explain」那一行: I was tire詞形錯誤:應為「tired」 all afternoon, but I’d seen something I’d never have seen from my bed, and I’d gladly do it again.
Band 8
I’d like to talk about a morning last May when I got up at half past three to watch the sunrise from a ridge near Chimgan, in the mountains outside Tashkent. It was my younger brother Bobur’s idea. He’d seen photographs of the view and had talked about it for weeks, until I finally agreed, although I’m definitely not a morning person. We set two alarms, packed sandwiches and a flask of tea, and a friend with a car picked us up at four. It was pitch dark and bitterly cold when we started the climb, and for the first half hour I honestly regretted saying yes. But when we reached the ridge, the sky was turning orange behind the peaks and the valley below was still full of mist. We sat there for almost an hour, hardly speaking. On the way down we had breakfast in a small tea house, and Bobur kept reminding me that he’d been right all along. Looking back, it was absolutely worth it帶有反思的開場,直接回應「and explain」那一行: I was tired all afternoon, but I’d seen something I’d never have seen from my bed, and I’d happily do it again, preferably with a thicker jacket帶點幽默,語體自然.
- Band 6的時態錯誤(「I get up」、「he talk」、「the sky become」)在Band 7中已改正,Band 7用了「He’d talked」和「was turning」,Band 8則完全沒有錯誤。
- Band 6依賴「very dark and very cold」和「really nice」;Band 7用「pitch dark and bitterly cold」;Band 8加上厚外套的細節,作為自然又帶個人色彩的收尾。
- 只用「very early」和「very tired」,而不是「pitch dark」或「half past three」這類精準的用字。
- Why do some people prefer mornings while others work better in the evening?
- Should schools and offices start later in the day?
- Do you think people who get up early achieve more?
- How does the amount of sleep affect people's health and concentration?
- Is it harder for teenagers than for adults to keep a regular sleep routine?
大部分用過去式,早晨之前就已經發生的事用過去完成式(Past Perfect),例如「he had talked about it for weeks」。「and explain」那一行的看法則用現在式,例如「I think it was worth it」或「I'd happily do it again」。
