“she is amazing”이나 “he changed my life”처럼 막연하게 묘사한 극적인 영향보다, 조용하고 평범한 영향을 정확하게 묘사한 답변이 더 높은 점수를 받습니다.
그다음 2분의 대부분을 “how you know them”과 “what they have done”에 쓰세요.

Band 7
I’d like to talk about my former manager, Aziza, who I worked under for around two years at my first job after university. I got to know her well because she was responsible for training new staff, so I saw her almost daily, especially during the first few months when I genuinely had no idea what I was doing. What stood out about her wasn’t one dramatic thing, but a pattern — she never made me feel stupid for asking a question, even the same one twice, and despite being fairly senior, she was remarkably down-to-earth, often sitting with junior staffs불가산명사에 복수형 어미를 붙임 at lunch rather than eating separately. There was one moment I still remember clearly이야기를 시작하는 자연스러운 담화 표지: I made an error on a client report, expecting to be reprimanded — or, well, at least told off firmly문장 중간의 자연스러운 자기 수정 — but instead she sat with me calmly, helped me correct it, and simply said mistakes are how people actually learn the job. What inspired me most was that combination of patience and high standards; she never lowered her expectations, but she didn’t punish effort either균형 잡힌 병렬절 구조. Looking back, she shaped my whole outlook on leadership정확하고 자연스러운 콜로케이션 more than any course could have, and now that I occasionally train newer colleagues myself, I often catch myself repeating almost exactly what she used to do.

- 6점 답변은 “very good manager”와 “very kind person”을 반복하고 도중에 현재 시제로 바뀝니다(“I work with”, “I see her”). 7점 답변은 시제를 바로잡고 자연스럽게 스스로 고쳐 말하며, 8점 답변은 밋밋한 형용사 대신 “strikingly unpretentious”와 격식 있는 “under whom I worked”를 씁니다.
- 6점 답변의 수 일치 실수(“What inspire me”, “she have patience”)는 7점 답변(“What inspired me… she never lowered her expectations”)에서 사라지고, 8점 답변은 같은 생각을 균형 잡힌 대비로 끌어올립니다(“she never let expectations slip, yet she never penalised honest effort either”).
- 6점 답변은 “er”와 “you know”로 머뭇거립니다. 7점 답변은 진짜 자기 수정을 한 번 보여 주고(“or, well, at least told off firmly”), 8점 답변은 머뭇거림 없이 “What struck me about her wasn’t any single dramatic gesture” 같은 유창한 도입만 있습니다.
- “what they have done”을 제대로 다루지 않고 바로 “why they inspired me”로 넘어가서, 설명 밑에 받쳐 줄 구체적인 내용이 없는 것
- What qualities make someone a good role model?
- Do you think celebrities have a responsibility to be role models?
- Are people more inspired by family members or by public figures nowadays?
- Can a person be inspiring without realising it themselves?
- How has the idea of a "role model" changed over the last generation?
