Band 6

I want to talk about a day out I have時態錯誤:應為「had」 last June with my two friends, Aziza and Timur. It was just after our exams, and we was主詞動詞不一致:應為「were」 very tired, so we decided to go to a lake in the hills, about two hours away by bus. We did not plan much. In the morning we packed our own lunch, bread and fruit and some boiled eggs, and we took the local bus. When we arrived, we walked around the lake, which took about one hour, and the view was really nice基本詞彙,限制了Lexical Resource的分數. The place was not famous, so there were not many people there. After that we sat on the grass, ate our lunch and played cards for a long time. The water was cold but Timur jump時態錯誤:應為「jumped」 in anyway, and we laugh時態錯誤:應為「laughed」 so much. I think this day was special because it was very simple and calm. We did not look at our phones, we just talked about our plans and our future, and I felt that the time was stopped被動語態錯誤:應為「time had stopped」. After a hard month it was exactly what I needed, and now I try to do something like this every summer.

Band 7

I’d like to talk about a day out I had last June with two close friends, Aziza and Timur. It was just after our exams and we were all exhausted, so we decided to head to a lake in the hills, about two hours away by bus. We didn’t plan much: in the morning we packed a simple lunch of bread, fruit and boiled eggs動詞片語清楚列出三個項目 and caught the local bus. When we arrived we walked around the lake, which took about an hour, and the scenery was breathtaking有力又精準的形容詞. The spot was a little off the beaten track, so it was almost empty. Afterwards we sat on the grass, ate our lunch and played cards for ages. The water was freezing, but Timur jumped in anyway, and we all laughing動詞形式錯誤:應為「laughed」或「were laughing」 so much. What made the day special was how unhurried it felt分裂句讓回答有明確的焦點: nobody looked at their phones, we just talked about our plans and our future, and I lost track of time自然又道地的說法. After such a stressful month it was exactly what I needed, and I now try to repeat something similar every summer.

Band 8

I’d like to talk about a day out I had last June with two close friends, Aziza and Timur. It was just after our exams and we were all exhausted, so we decided to head to a lake in the hills, about two hours away by bus. We didn’t plan much: in the morning we packed a simple lunch of bread, fruit and boiled eggs and caught the local bus. When we arrived we walked around the lake, which took about an hour, and the scenery was breathtaking. The spot was a little off the beaten track, so we almost had it to ourselves. Afterwards we sat on the grass, ate our lunch and played cards for ages. The water was freezing, but Timur jumped in anyway and we all laughed until our sides hurt. What made the day special was how unhurried it felt分裂句讓回答有明確的焦點: nobody looked at their phones, we simply talked about our plans, and I lost track of time completely. After such a stressful month it was exactly what I needed, a genuine breath of fresh air精準運用的慣用語, and I now try to repeat something similar every summer.

  • Band 6的時態與主詞動詞不一致的失誤(「a day out I have」、「we was」、「Timur jump」)在Band 7中已經改正,Band 8也維持無誤。
  • Band 6用了「really nice」和「very simple and calm」;Band 7升級為「breathtaking」和「lost track of time」;Band 8再加上「a genuine breath of fresh air」。
  • Band 6用一句平淡的話說明這一天為什麼特別;Band 7用了分裂句「What made the day special was how unhurried it felt」;Band 8保留這句,並加上生動的細節「laughed until our sides hurt」。

  • 反覆說「it was fun」和「it was nice」,卻沒有任何具體細節。

  1. Why do many people enjoy a simple day out with friends or family?
  2. What kinds of places can a city provide for families to spend a day?
  3. Do you think young people today spend enough time outdoors?
  4. How important is it for people to take a break from work and study?
  5. Do people in your country prefer to spend their days off at home or outside?
