Band 6

I would like to describe a football match I watch時制の誤り:正しくは「watched」 last April in the city stadium in Samarkand. It was a derby between two local teams, and I went with my cousin Jasur, who is a very big fan. Before that day I only see時制の誤り:正しくは「saw」 matches on television, so I was, er, a bit nervous about how it would be. The stadium was full and the people were singing the whole time, and when the home team scored in the second half everybody jump時制の誤り:正しくは「jumped」 up and shouted. I could not hear my cousin even when he was stand形の誤り:正しくは「standing」 next to me. The other team scored late and the final result was a draw, but nobody was really sad because the match was so exciting. Watching it live was different from television because on television you only see the ball文が不十分:比較が途中で終わっており、何を見逃すのかを述べるべき, but in the stadium you feel the big noise基本的な語彙で、Lexical Resourceの評価が伸びない and the feeling of the crowd. I think I will go again next season, maybe with more of my friends because it was a very good day.

Band 7

I’d like to describe a football match I watched last April at the city stadium in Samarkand. It was a derby between two local teams, and I went with my cousin Jasur, who’s a devoted supporter. Until then I’d only ever followed matches on television, so I was a little nervous about how different it would feel間接疑問を正確に使っている. The stadium was packed, and the fans sang almost without stopping; when the home side scored in the second half, the whole stand erupted情景が浮かぶ的確な動詞選び and I couldn’t even hear Jasur standing beside me. The visitors equalised late on, so it ended in a draw, but nobody seemed disappointed because it had been such a lively game from start to finish理由を示すつなぎで、語りの一貫性を保っている. What made it different from watching at home was that a screen only shows you the ball, whereas in the stadium you pick up the mood of the entire crowd: the noise, the chanting, even the smell of food outside. I think I’d go again next season, maybe with more of my friend複数形の抜け:正しくは「friends」, because the experience was genuinely memorable.

Band 8

I’d like to describe a football match I watched last April at the city stadium in Samarkand, a derby between two local sides that my cousin Jasur, a lifelong supporter, had been talking about for weeks. Until then I’d only ever followed matches on television, so I wasn’t sure how different it would feel. The stadium was packed, and the fans sang almost without pause; when the home side scored in the second half, the whole stand erupted情景が浮かぶ的確な動詞選び and I couldn’t hear Jasur even though he was standing right beside me. The visitors equalised late on, so it finished level, yet nobody seemed disappointed, since it had been such a lively game from start to finish. What set it apart from watching at home was that a screen shows you only the ball, whereas in the stadium you absorb the mood of the entire crowd「whereas」の節で、対比による比較を述べている: the noise, the chanting, even the smell of food drifting in from outside. I’d happily go again next season, perhaps with a few more friends, because the whole experience felt shared in a way that a living-room broadcast never quite manages.

  • バンド6の時制のミス(「I watch」、「I only see」、「everybody jump」)はバンド7で正確になり(「I watched」、「I’d only ever followed」)、バンド8でもミスはありません。
  • バンド6は「big noise」と「very good day」に頼っています。
  • バンド6はテレビとの比較が未完成のままです(「you only see the ball」)。

  1. Why do some people prefer to watch sport in a stadium rather than at home?
  2. Do you think professional athletes are good role models for young people?
  3. How has television and online streaming changed the way people follow sport?
  4. Should governments spend public funds on hosting large sporting events?
  5. Why do some people have no interest in watching sport at all?
