এই কিউ কার্ড (cue card) মূলত দৃশ্য বর্ণনার কাজ, তাই অন্যান্য বেশির ভাগ কার্ডের চেয়ে এখানে আকার, আকৃতি ও উপকরণের শব্দভান্ডার বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। শুধু “it’s very big” বা “it’s beautiful” না বলে আপনি কোনো বাস্তব জিনিস নিখুঁতভাবে বর্ণনা করতে পারেন কি না, পরীক্ষক তা-ই শোনেন। “why impressive” নির্দেশনা এরপর আপনাকে নিছক বর্ণনা থেকে যুক্তিসহ ব্যক্তিগত প্রতিক্রিয়ার দিকে যেতে বলে।

I’d like to talk about the Registan, a historic square with three large madrasahs in Samarkand, in Uzbekistan, which I visited a few years ago with my family. What immediately strikes you is the scale of it — the buildings tower over the open square in front of them, and the exterior is covered in this incredibly intricate blue and turquoise tilework that somehow still looks vivid despite being centuries old. I think what impresses me most, if I’m honest, is imagining the level of planning and craftsmanship that went into something on that scale centuries before computer modelling or modern construction equipment existed — it’s hard not to feel a bit humbled standing in front of it.
